Please read and understand the following:

 

  1. We strongly encourage you to first download and try our software before making a purchase.
  2. The server comes with five (5) concurrent connections, make sure you purchase enough concurrent connections for your needs. The cost for additional connections is as follows:
    1. 1 to 10 Concurrent Connections: $250 ea.
    2. 11 to 50 Concurrent Connections: $200 ea.
    3. 51 or more Concurrent Connections: $150 ea.
  3. Concurrent connections is the number of authenticated "handshakes" between a client and/or server during any given time before all communications have been disconnected.
  4. The server speed will be limited to a maximum speed of 10Mbps (equivalent to approx. 1.23 MB/sec) shared between concurrent connections.
  5. The FileCatalyst Express Server is licensed to the machine on which it is installed. With a valid support contract, the license may be transferred up to twice per calendar year at no additional charge. With no support contract or for further license transfers, a $300 fee shall be applied.
  6. To transfer your license to another system, email your representative with a new request string. Please allow two (2) business days to process your request.
  7. The client application can be freely distributed, however it will only connect to a licensed FileCatalyst server.
  8. Support is included within the first year. Support includes unlimited support from 9am - 5pm EST through e-mail, chat and phone on weekdays (except public holidays in Canada). Maintenance includes access to full upgrades and patches via electronic distribution.
  9. The cost to renew support and Maintenance is 20% of the original price per year. Support and Maintenance are optional after the first year.
  10. The license key provided upon purchase is a perpetual license and will not expire. Support and Maintenance renewals after year one are required should you wish to continue to receive updates and support.

The source code is not provided when you license the server.
